What is StudioX?
StudioX is a state-of-the-art custom fitting centre at our Toronto-Leaside, Etobicoke and Woodbridge location, offering an incredible assortment of demo club heads and shafts, with two private custom fitting bays and a putter-fitting studio powered by cutting-edge club fitting technology.
We're excited to bring our StudioX experience to new locations in 2024.

Our Fitting Bays are equipped with Foresight GCHawk™ technology to deliver the most accurate ball and club data in a controlled, indoor environment. All putter fittings use Quintic technology to measure every parameter in your putting stroke.

WHAT TO EXPECT DURING YOUR FITTING
You'll begin your fitting in a private hitting bay. Your Master Club Fitter will start by asking you a series of questions to understand your goals and what you hope to get out of your new club(s). Choose from our selection of premium golf balls to match the one you play with, or find a new one that will optimize your performance.
Bring your current clubs (if applicable) so we can compare your swing tendencies. From there, your Fitter will analyze the launch monitor data with you and begin trying different shafts, heads, and making adjustments to your set. If you're satisified with the club(s) and ready to purchase, your Fitter will place the order with your customized specifications.

How long does a fitting take?

A fitting can take approximately one hour to complete for a single club category. A full bag fitting will take between two and three hours to complete.

How accurate are the simulators?

Every simulator at Golf Town is powered by Foresight Sports Technology. Foresight is trusted by the best players in the world for their statistics. This technology will provide the most accurate representation of your current ball flight in a controlled environment.

If I need to do a full bag fitting, should I do this in one session or two?

A full bag fitting can take between two and three three hours to complete and entails a lot of golf swings. It is recommended that if you’re not been playing and practicing regularly you book two separate sessions. This will assist with the quality of your shots at their best potential for the session.

Do you have to be a better player to benefit from a custom fitting?

Custom fitting is for everyone regardless of skill level. From a beginner golfer to a low handicap player, you can benefit from a club fitting. We are here to help you on your golfing journey and will cater each session to the golfer's needs.

What should I bring to a fitting appointment?

Bring your complete set of clubs, and comfortable clothing to take a lot of swings in. You should also bring a clean pair of golf shoes, or gym shoes as you’ll be hitting off mats.

Isn’t custom fitting more expensive?

Custom clubs do not need to be more expensive. We have options to best suit your needs and budget. With having different price points for golf clubs that provide custom options and we cater to each customer’s desires on their journey in golf.

What should I expect during a fitting?

Before and during a fitting you should expect a thorough interview with your Master Club Fitter followed up by a warm-up/review of how you hit your current clubs for the purposes of data collection. After the review, your fitter will select clubs to test with your goals in mind. After the club testing, the fitter will work with you to provide a recommendation on which clubs would be best suited to your game. From there, we will go over the ordering process, and next steps.

If I purchase clubs is the fitting fee waived?

At StudioX the fitting fee is not waived if you make a purchase. This fitting fee is in place to ensure the highest quality of product, and service is being offered. We do offer one free call-back service as part of the club purchase.

Do you offer special rates for junior golfers?

Fees for junior golfers (18 and under) are 50% off regular rates.
